The INA226 Voltage Current Sensor Module 36V 20A is a high-precision digital voltage, current and power monitoring module designed for measuring electrical parameters in DC circuits. Based on the INA226 power monitor IC, the module communicates with microcontrollers through an I2C/IIC interface, making it easy to integrate with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and other embedded systems. The INA226 can monitor DC bus voltages from 0V to 36V and provides digital measurements of bus voltage, shunt voltage, current and power. The IC supports both high-side and low-side current sensing and provides configurable measurement averaging for stable readings. This INA226 36V 20A current and voltage sensor module is suitable for battery monitoring, power supplies, DC motor projects, solar power systems, robotics, IoT devices, Arduino projects, ESP32 projects and electronic power-monitoring applications. Specifications Module: INA226 Voltage Current Sensor Module Voltage Measurement Range: 0–36V DC Current Measurement: Up to 20A* depending on the module's shunt resistor Interface: I2C / IIC / SMBus compatible ADC Resolution: 16-bit Module Supply Voltage: 2.7–5.5V DC Measurements: Voltage, Current, Shunt Voltage & Power Sensing: High-side or low-side Current Direction: Bidirectional sensing supported by INA226 I2C Addresses: Up to 16 programmable addresses Gain Error: Up to 0.1% for the INA226 IC Offset Voltage: Up to 10µV Operating Temperature: -40°C to +125°C for the INA226 IC * Note: The actual maximum current depends on the particular module's shunt resistor and PCB design. The “20A” rating commonly advertised for these modules should therefore be treated as a module-specific rating rather than a universal INA226 IC specification. Applications Arduino voltage and current monitoring ESP32 power monitoring Battery voltage and current measurement Battery management projects Solar power monitoring DC power supply monitoring DC motor current monitoring Robotics projects IoT energy monitoring Power consumption measurement Embedded systems Electronic test equipment
