Product Description The LM2596 Buck Converter Module with Display is an adjustable DC-DC step-down voltage regulator designed to efficiently convert a higher DC input voltage into a lower adjustable DC output voltage. It uses the popular LM2596 switching regulator and includes a built-in LED voltmeter for convenient voltage monitoring. Sri Lankan product specifications commonly list a 4V–40V DC input range and an adjustable 1.25V–37V DC output range. The output voltage can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer, making this module useful when different voltage levels are required for electronic circuits. The integrated LED display allows you to monitor the voltage without requiring a separate multimeter. Depending on the module version and cooling conditions, the output is generally rated around 2A for stable continuous operation and up to 3A maximum.
